The International Congress of Plant Pathology gathered plant pathologists from around the world to Lyon for some very intensive, inspiring - and warm - days. The session "Bioinvasion in the urban environment: pathways, early warning, mitigation measures, institutional frameworks and policy implementation", organized by our Action members, attracted a full room of pathologists, indicating high international interest in the topic. Tree diseases were also discussed in many other concurrent and poster sessions where our members, including several young researchers, were well represented. We were very happy to see urban tree health highlighted also in the closing plenary presentation "The Future of Plant Pathology in One Health World", delivered by Professor Monica Höfte.
