We successfully held our first FREE3 COST Innovators Grant Working Group Meeting in Malmö, Sweden. Organized by our Chair, Johan Östberg and Johanna Witzell. 
 
Over two productive days, 19 participants from 12 nationalities came together to align on the scope, timelines, and deliverables of the Free3 Project: Empowering Europe's Cities to Build Greener, Healthier, and Climate-Resilient Urban Forests. 
 
Through parallel breakout sessions and plenary discussions, we planned: 
•⁠ ⁠STSMs and VMGs 
•⁠ ⁠Training School, Final Meeting and Conference 
•⁠ ⁠Municipal questionnaire design 
•⁠ ⁠Development of the Plug-in tailored to municipalities’ needs 
•⁠ ⁠Plot design strategy and validation roadmap 
 
We enjoyed nice networking and great discussions, and of course, Swedish fika in Malmö.
